We're a young, small, passionate team. We love what we do and we do what we love. We believe we can change lives and make a difference through the arts. We encompass all sections of the community. Moving Waves has been established since 2015 and over 70% of our clients have been with us since day one! We also donate 5% of our annual profits to Worldwide Cancer Research so by supporting us you are also contributing towards the fight against cancer.
Why do you support Worldwide Cancer Research?
Cancer is a disease that nobody would like to experience. Moving Waves and Worldwide Cancer Research share the same vision: to see no life cut short by cancer. This charity funds research into any type of cancer anywhere in the world. They fund world-renowned specialists and up and coming talent. Because research doesn’t happen in isolation and the answers will not come from one scientist, in one lab, in one country.
We fully support and share these beliefs.
What is it like working for Moving Waves? How can I join?
Our team includes performers, creative practitioners, party entertainers, experienced teachers and creative therapists. We have a thorough recruitment process to ensure that we choose the right people for the type of work that we do. Most of our staff work with us on a freelance basis. We provide a positive, friendly and creative environment with constant support for our staff.

How much do classes and workshops cost?
Moving Waves want to enable as many people as possible to benefit from the arts and we try to keep our costs as low as possible.
Our classes and workshop prices vary and depend on the type and length of each session. Contact us to discuss the prices and packages available. We offer trials for children and adults attending our Performing Arts Academy and competitively discounted taster sessions for community.
Would you consider setting up a class in our area?
Absolutely! We always love to explore the potential of expanding our bases and setting up a class in your preferred location. We usually need a minimum of 7 participants to start a new class.
What health and safety and child protection do you have in place?
We're committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our staff and clients. All of our workshop leaders, teachers and therapists are DBS checked and have relevant working experience with children, adults and vulnerable participants. All of our therapists are regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). We have Public and Employers Liability Insurance to cover all of our staff.
